What I offer:
– Yamaha Music Courses (beginners 2 to 7 years old)
– Piano private tuition
– Saxophone private tuition
My priority when teaching is to give students the joy of being a musician whilst I guide them through their learning and progress, which is why my teaching approach focuses on developing a solid understanding of music looking at its many exciting aspects. Music = Fun!
All lessons take place at the Matrix Arts Centre in South Oxfordshire.
My availability is currently Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during Oxfordshire term time (dates listed on Matrix website).
The fee is £18 for 30 minutes for private tuition.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to develop a lifetime skill of creating music on piano or saxophone!
Beginners 2 to 7 years old I strongly recommend the Yamaha Music School. I am highly enthusiastic about teaching this course because it teaches very important aspects of music focusing on listening, singing, playing, and creating music in a relaxed group-lesson environment. The courses are well structured and capture the children’s imagination so they learn to express each piece musically. Contact Matrix Arts Centre directly to book a place at an Open Day to find out more!
I also work with the Abingdon Music Centre running workshops for children during school holidays, accompanying choirs, helping at adult Ukelele classes, and assisting with music therapy sessions for adults with disabilities.
I started teaching at the age of 19 when I was first trained as a Yamaha Music School teacher. Since then I have gained more and more experience teaching people of all ages. Now most of my time is spent in this fabulous profession of teaching music. As I said earlier: Music = Fun!
