What I offer:
– Yamaha Music Courses (beginners 2 to 7 years old)
– Piano private tuition (beginners 8+)
– Saxophone private tuition (beginners 10+)
My priority when teaching is to give students the joy of being a musician by providing enthusiastic and imaginative lessons. My teaching takes a holistic approach focused on developing a solid understanding of music.
Please email me at [email protected] if you wish to develop a lifetime skill of creating music on piano or saxophone!
For 2 to 7 years old beginners, the Yamaha Music School Education System is a very special and enjoyable way to learn music. It teaches important aspects of music: listening, singing, playing, and creating music in a relaxed group-lesson environment. The courses are well structured and capture the children’s imagination with the aim that they express every piece musically. Contact Matrix Arts Centre directly to find out more or book a place at an Open Day for a free taster lesson.
I also work with the Abingdon Music Centre running workshops for children during school holidays, accompanying choirs, helping at adult Ukelele classes, and assisting with music therapy sessions for adults with disabilities.
I started teaching at the age of 19 when I was first trained as a Yamaha Music School teacher. Since then I have gained more and more experience teaching people of all ages. Now most of my time is spent in this fabulous profession of teaching music!
